We just recently celebrated the Chinese New Year. Right now, we already on the second week of the Year of the Dragon!

Since I'm very busy within the past days because of different events, I wasn't able to greet you formally with the coming of this dragon year!

So allow me to take this opportunity to formally say, "Welcome Year of the Dragon!"

Since we just stepped up to the new year, later I will share you my pending Accomplishmet Report for 2011. And of course, I will also share with you my vision and mission for this 2012! Cool!

Hope that the dragon will be more prosperous, more abundant, and luckier that the previous year of the rabbit! Go, go, go dragon! c",)

The New Philippine One Peso Coin!

Last year, we commemorated the 100 years death anniversary of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. And inline with this, the Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas released the new one peso coin.

Here is the new Philippine one peso coin as proposed by BSP. Let's take a look on its front and back design below:

This new coin will be 24 mm in diameter and 5.35 grams in weight same as the current one peso coin we have in circulation. The newly minted coin featuring Dr. Jose Rizal portrait and marking of "150 years" 1861 - 2011 on its head, while the new BSP logo on its tail.

BSB dubbed this coin series as the "New Generation" coins. So expect for more new coins like the five peso and ten peso coins to come in the public sooner!

The Search is On for the Worst Workstation!

Everyday in my previous office, I always ensure that my cubicle or workstation is so clean, smooth, fresh and neat! I always wipe it every time I came in. And best of all, I even wipe it with an alcohol to ensure it is free from germs and totally clean!

Walgreens Plus Express Scripts Equals a Healthy Life!

Everyone of us aims to have a better and a healthy life! A healthy body makes us achieve all our dreams and ambition! But what if we got an unexpected ill?! Then this becomes a burden not only in our human body but also more in the person's pocket!

Good thing, there is Walgreens and Express Scripts which help us in time of crisis and leading us to a healthy life! Walgreens and Express Scripts join hands in helping customers in terms of health! These are the pharmacy teams who are guiding us in a better and healthier path! But how does the collaboration of these two started?! Well, allow me to discuss a quick glimpse about WAlgreen and Express Scripts!

For the past year, Walgreens has negotiated with Express Scripts for a new contract to continue as part of its pharmacy provider network. Those negotiations were unsuccessful, and the contract expired on Dec. 31. As a result, Walgreens is no longer part of Express Scripts’ pharmacy provider network as of Jan. 1, 2012. This includes all Walgreens pharmacies nationwide and Duane Reade pharmacies in the New York City area.

This situation of forcing pharmacy patients to go elsewhere to use their in-network pharmacy benefits was unnecessary. Express Scripts’ actions are causing disruption with no significant benefit to patients or their health plan. Patients covered by an Express Scripts plan now find themselves not only having to change their pharmacists, but many are having to drive farther to get prescriptions filled at pharmacies with less convenient hours for their hectic schedules. Walgreens offers more 24-hour and drive-thru pharmacies than any other pharmacy in the country.

And patients are not seeing their costs go down in exchange for the increased hassle they’re being subject to. It’s all pain with no gain.

During negotiations, Walgreens offered to hold rates for a new contract flat and did not seek an increase in rates. The response from Express Scripts was to insist on being able to unilaterally define contract terms, such as what does and does not constitute a brand and generic drug. Express Scripts also proposed to slash Walgreens reimbursement rates to levels below the industry average cost to provide each prescription.

Express Scripts itself has stated that clients will not see any significant savings from excluding Walgreens from its network. In fact, costs may even go up without Walgreens because we offer competitive pricing, additional savings by dispensing less expensive generic drugs more often than other pharmacies, and savings through 90-day supplies of medications at our retail pharmacies versus three, 30-day refills.

Express Scripts could offer substantial savings to its clients by promoting 90-day refills at retail pharmacies, but it conflicts with its own mail order 90-day prescription business that it profits from. In addition, while profits per prescription among retail pharmacies have been flat or declining in recent years, Express Scripts’ profits have grown at a rate more than two times the average of peers in health care.

One of Express Scripts’ clients is Tricare, which is the health and prescription drug program for America’s military service men and women. During negotiations, Walgreens took the unprecedented step of offering Express Scripts an ironclad guarantee that Walgreens prices would match or beat the average costs per adjusted prescription of all other pharmacies in the Tricare network. Walgreens did this in an effort to prevent our country’s military personnel from being caught in the middle. Walgreens also offered to contract separately with Express Scripts for Tricare from other Express Scripts commercial business, but these offers were rejected. Express Scripts continues to refuse to negotiate a separate contract for the benefit of the Tricare program and its beneficiaries.

In terms of the Walgreens patient, many patients under an Express Scripts plan have used Walgreens pharmacies for years and have a personal relationship with their Walgreens pharmacist. In an effort to minimize their disruption and inconvenience, Walgreens unveiled a comprehensive national effort to make this transition as smooth as possible and is doing all it can to help patients continue to use Walgreens when possible, or take care of them as they are forced to leave Walgreens in order to use their in-network coverage.

Only patients with certain prescription insurance plans managed by Express Scripts are impacted. It is best to check with your local Walgreens pharmacist to find out for sure if you’re impacted. Patients also can check the back of their prescription insurance card – if it has Express Scripts’ name there, then they may be affected. If it doesn’t say Express Scripts, then they are not affected.

Among the steps Walgreen is taking to minimize the disruption is offering a special discount on annual membership for its Prescription Savings Club. An individual can join during a special January promotion for only $5, or $10 for a family membership, and receive savings on more than 8,000 brand name and all generic medications. More than 400 generics are available with a three-month supply for less than $1 a week. Regular annual membership is $20 for an individual and $35 for a family.

Express Scripts acts as a middleman between pharmacies providing the health care service and employers and health plans who pay for the medications. Because Express Scripts is the middleman, most payers don’t see the rates Express Scripts pays to Walgreens. They only know what they pay Express Scripts. When they do see what Walgreens is paid, many health plans and employers are making decisions to continue to ensure access to Walgreens because they find our prices to be competitive and believe that we can lower overall health care costs.

Express Scripts continues to gain financially from its position as a middleman as its profits have grown at a rate more than two times the average of peers in health care. Historically brokers in a marketplace take a percentage of the cost of a product for putting the buyer and seller in contact. In Express Scripts’ case, the broker is growing profits faster than the provider of the service. When the middleman is more profitable than the providers, the relationship is out of balance.

Beyond the contract issues, this issue between Express Scripts and Walgreens is really about the value of your local community pharmacy. Express Scripts wants customers to use their own mail order pharmacy business instead of your community pharmacy whenever possible. This could threaten all community drugstores in your area. Remember, community pharmacies are a valuable presence in your neighborhood when you need a pain medication as you leave the emergency room at 2 a.m., or need a flu shot and haven’t been able to get to the doctor’s office. Community pharmacies are often the first point of entry for many people into the health care system, and the value they provide by lowering overall health care costs should be recognized by Express Scripts.

A Walgreens proprietary survey of 823 executives and managers who are key decision makers for pharmacy benefit decisions or provide input found that 82 percent of employers said that they would not exclude Walgreens for less than 5 percent savings on their total pharmacy spend. Sixty percent of employers would not exclude Walgreens for less than 10 percent savings, and 21 percent would not exclude Walgreens from their network regardless of the amount of savings. These findings on employer attitudes are consistent with recent research published by several leading equity research analysts.

Employers value having Walgreens as a pharmacy option for their employees, but Express Scripts wants to take that choice away.

Walgreens really wants to help! The Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens is offering a special discount on annual membership for its Prescription Savings Club. And this really helps the customer a lot more!

There are times that customers were upset about not being able to use Walgreens. In this case, just contact your local media and voice your dissatisfaction! Walgreens will take actions immediately!

The Feast of the Black Nazarene!

This is the actual scenario taking place every 9TH day of January in Quiapo Church, Manila:

The place seems like a sea of million people!

Every year, million devotees gather around the church of Quiapo for the annual feast and procession of the Black Nazarene. They believe that this black statue of Jesus Christ is miraculous. It can heal all their illness and can grant all their wishes!

As part of their sacrifice, the devotees walk from their home to the Quiapo church bare-footed! They doesn't matter if million people were there in the crowd! Even they get hurt, they still continue their patronage!

This is one of the well-known Filipino traditions! See how strong the faith of the Filipinos to our Almighty God!

The History of the Black Nazarene!

Today is January 9. And this day is another special event in the Filipino culture. We are once more celebrating the Feast of the Black Nazarene. And right now, million people and devotees are there in the Quaipo Church in Manila!

But did you actually know how the Black Nazarene started?! Why do million people gather in its church every year?! What is the story behind this said miraculous black statue of Jesus?!

As part of my tribute to the Feast of the Black Nazarene, allow me to share the story behind this holy image.

Wikipedia defines the Black Nazarene as a life-sized, dark-coloured, wooden sculpture of Jesus Christ, believed to be miraculous by many Filipino devotees. It was known in three culture - in Spanish as "Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno"; in English as "Our Father Jesus Nazarene"; and in Filipino as "Mahal na Itim na Nazareno."

Originally, the statue is said to have a fair or light complexion. It turned dark after it was exposed to fire on its arrival from Mexico!

According to the story, the statue's original carver is an anonymous Mexican carpenter, and the image arrived in the Islands via galleon from Acapulco, Mexico. Folk tradition attributes the colour of the Black Nazarene to a fire on the ship carrying it, charring the image from its original fair tone into its present dark complexion.

There were two identical images of Black Nazarene brought into Manila. The first and most famous one was kept at the Church of Saint Nicholas de Tolentino in Bagumbayan and later transferred to Intramuros when the old edifice was demolished. This Black Nazarene was part of the celebrated Palm Sunday Procession in the old walled city where the statue perished during the Battle of Manila in February 1945. The other statue was given by the Recollect Priests to the Church of Quiapo. It has been often mistaken that this is identical to the lost image of the Intramuros.

Every 9TH day January, Devotees flock to the Basilica for the annual Feast of the Black Nazarene. The procession takes several hours to navigate the narrow streets of Quiapo. On ordinary times of the year, Friday is known as Quiapo Day.

To protect the centuries old image from effects of processions, the priests of Quiapo decided to commission a replica of the Black Nazarene. As a result, the Head and the Hands were placed on the new body while the old torso holds a new head. Both images are brought out for processions albeit alternating every other year.

"Budoy," the Primetime TV series of Gerald Anderson now becomes a huge hit. Aside from being a consistent top-rater in the TV rating race, "Budoy" also becomes a trending topic in the world wide web.

Aside from these, the comedian Jose Manalo also impersonates "Budoy" in one of the segment in "Eat Bulaga."

January 2012 - "Another New Hope and Beginning!"

Time is really so fast! Imagine, we are now on the much anticipated year - the year 2012!

Before the start of this year, many speculations and predictions came out - that the world is about to end on December of this year according to the Mayan beliefs! Do you believe on that rumor?

Well before thinking of any unusual things, let's first start to plan the year ahead! It's now January...the first month of the year! And like what I always do every month, I always lay you my monthly plans and expected feature posts!

Two Great Things I Got This Year!

Last 2010, the great gadget I bought for myself was a Toshiba laptop plus its other equipments like the wireless router. Not to mention the other appliances I bought for our home.

This year, two new gadgets mark my Christmas! This 2011, I bought two great things. These are the digital camera (digicam) and a Samsung Galaxy Y android phone!

Yup, I bought two of the most expensive gadgets this year! And they were both from Samsung brand!

Yes I'm a camera or a picture addict. So to satisfy my need for a picture, I bought a Samsung PL120 dual LCD or dual lens camera! It's back to back in a way that it has a back and front lens where you can take picture of yourself! I'll discuss it more on my next succeeding posts!

If I have a new digital camera, my brother on the other hand has his android phone! Yes, I bought him a Samsung Galaxy Y cellphone! This is the gift he requested from me! I will also discuss it more on a separate post!

A hi-tech hi-pixel digital camera and an android wi-fi Galaxy phone are two of the most expensive things I bought for this year! Thank you Lord for letting me have these! c",)

The Unexpected Twists in 'Segunda Mano!'

I could say that "Segunda Mano" is one of the best movies I have watched this year! Though it was not a pure horror everyone is thinking of, the story brings us more unexpected twists!

Last night, I watched the said movie with my GF in SM Mall of Asia! Originally, we were planning to watch "Shake, Rattle, and Roll 13." We came in the mall at around 7pm. But the next movie hour for SSR13 was at 11:30pm. So we decided to watch our second choice - "Segunda Mano!" The next movie hour of this horror flick from Star Cinema was at 9pm.

While waiting for the hour of showing, we roamed around the mall and spent sweet night together!

At around 8pm, we decided to go up the movie house. It was shocking to see that many people were falling inline for the said movie. As we have seen, "Segunda Mano" has the most number of viewers next to "Enteng Ng Ina Mo!"

People were very excited to watch this fourth horror movie of Ms. Kris Aquino. As the light was turned off in the theater, people were shouting!

In the beginning of the movie, you may say that it's an ordinary horror film with a very predictable plot! The owner of the red bag was revealed upon the start of the story! You will eventually know who is the ghost in the story who keeps on haunting the character of Kris Aquino as Mabel!

But as the story progresses, in the middle and in the last part of the movie, you will appreciate its essence! You will witness more twists and revelations you wouldn't expect! The purpose of the ghost haunting Mabel, the real killer in the story, the reason behind the lost of Mabel's little sister Marie, and the relationship of the characters of Kris Aquino as Mabel and Angelica Panganiban as Mariella were some of the twists in the film that surprised the audience!

In the movie, I can say that Ms. Kris Aquino is not only the Philippine's Horror Queen. She revives her previous title being the "Massacre Queen!" Yup, you will witness a masscre scene in this movie which once brightened the career of Ms. Kris way back in 90's (Remember "The Elsa Castillo Story?")!

There is also a touch of comedy in this movie! I love the cats which serve as 'pandayang pang-gulat', the character of Mosang which gives humor to the story, and of course the character of Ms. Bangs Garcia who is a 'kikay' bestfriend-sidekick of Kris! I bet Bangs for the Best Supporting Actress Award for this movie!

I would recommend you guys to watch this movie. In the end, you will find out that it's worthy! "Sulit na sulit ang pera mo at ang pag-uwi ko ng gabi kagabi!" Hehehe...I came home last night at around 12:45am! c",)

Meet and Greet Ogie Diaz!

I was so thankful that I got invited to the movie presscon of the comediane Pokwang in her launching movie "A Mother's Story." Aside from the buffet dinner for all the guests, I got a chance to talk with many of the stars and celebritites!

One of the celebrities I mingled with during that night was Mr. Ogie Diaz! He joined me in the table. We talked, shared ideas, and of course we took picture!

He shared me his latest projects as well as his upcoming TV series "Walang Hanggan." What more, he gave me free ticket to the advance screening of his Indie Film "Dyagwar"

Like we always know, Kuya Ogie is cool, funny, and jolly! I even shared my insights to his personal blog. I love his article post during the Father's Day called "Akin 'To, Pag-aari ko 'To!"

These two kids play the children of Pokwang in the movie. Aaron portrays the child Rayver Cruz!

Both of them were really 'bibbo' special Xyriel! "Grabe ang daldal ni Madam Anna Manalastas!" And she answered the questions intellectually!

It feels like a child again with these two child wonders! They were really jolly to be with!

I still receiving so many gifts...!!! My workstation is currently filled with different gifts from my friends, teammates, and fans (hehehe)! The gifts range from souvenir items to sweet cakes or desserts!

One of these gifts is a sweet brownies. It was given to me by my two managers. I love its sweetness, so perfect for my desserts!

Right now I'm still receiving different gifts! As the Christmas day is fast approaching, I expect more gifts to receive! For this day, I got two cute cupcakes and a special gift wrapped in stylish gift wrapper from my three kind teammates! So sad that I wasn't able to bring my digital camera to take shots of these gifts!

Look at the two of us! Yeah many say, we really look like a mother and son! Wow, I'm so flattered to be a son of the country's one of the great comedianne, Pokwang!

Pokwang or Ate Pokie as I called her already had her launching movie. And this is called "A Mother's Story!" I was so glad that I was invited in her presscon which took place in ABS-CBN's prestige Dolphy Theater!

In her movie launched, I met her other co-stars. I even collaborated with the other entertainment press people! I trully enjoyed that night (kahit na-late ako ng konti). I got a chance to talk with Ate Pokie as well as with Ogie Diaz, Aaron, Xyriel Ann Manabat, and Rayver Cruz! What more, I love the buffet! "Grabe ang sarap ng mga pagkain! Sosyalin!"

"Ang bait ni Pokwang!" She is too approachable and full of humor! I was touched when she told us her real life story narrating about her children and former husband! She cried infront of the people! I was even listened attentively to her story with teary eyes!

A Koreanovela Heartthrob!

This is my glamorous attire in our recently concluded Christmas party here in my new company! A very elegant look where everyone got amazed of!

They say I really look like a Korean heartthrob superstar! Some thought that I was a K-Pop rocker! My suit perfectly fits our theme! And all voted for me as the "Star of the Night!"

Actually I was really shinning that night! My hair was in Korean style. It was held hard by a wax and a spraynet with glitters! Yup, I was really shinning that night from hair to shoe! A shinning, shimmering, spledid Rocky!

I even asked one of my teammates to put an eyeliner to my eyes! "Kahit may kasakitan kase hindi ako sanay, tiniis ko" just for the sake of this once in a lifetime event! My very first Christmas party here in my new second home! =) And thanks God, "nagbunga din ang pinaghirapan kahit papano!""

And you wonder why I'm infront of the microphone up on the stage?! Yes, we performed! Each team will have their own team presentation. And we performed it live! And the result...the result is...we grabbed the first prize, a Php10,000 in cash! Great!

We're so happy that very night. Even though I failed to get the Samsung LCD 32" TV major prize, I'm still happy that we went home not empty handed! Our team got majority of the awards and giveaways from Male Best Dressed to minor prizes got by each of our teammates up to the Best Team Presentation! By the way, the two grand prizes were grabbed by our manager and by one of my teammates! Cool! c",)

December 2011 - "The Month of Conclusion!"

Time is really running so fast! Imagine, we are now stepped on the last page of the calendar - the month of December!

The month of December is said to be merriest and the busiest month of the year! It is also the month of the longest holiday celebration. Christmas, New Year, Rizal Day, and yuletide vacations were some of the events which mark the 12th month of the year!

Like many of you, December is also the busiest month for me! Aside from the different parties I have attended, there is also a great need for updates in my blogs!

Yup as I always do every end of the year, I am wrapping up the whole year! What were the accomplishments I achieved this 2011? What were the ups and downs I encounter this year?! And of course, what will be my plans for the coming 2012?!

November 2011 - "Looking Back and Looking Forward to My Corporate Stories!"

This month of November 2011 is really a great transition to my corporate career. I am facing a new career in the different company and at the same time leave my present.

Yup, I already filed my resignation to my present company last October 14, 2011 and will take effective on November 17, 2011. In other words, I will leave this company 15 days later.

After 3 years and 9 months of fruitful career, I decided to leave my current company to look for a better opportunities and greater career growth! As they say, for "greener pasture!"

For this month of November 2011, I like to pay tribute to this company. I will share with you some of my memorable experiences here. I'll share with you my ups and downs here, all the challenges and success I have with it for the past 3 years and 9 months!

What are the opportunities I got here?! What is my golden age and my dark age here in my present company?! How about the sweet love lives I had?! Who are the friends I had with and of course the 'kontrabidas' who made my corporate life miserable?! All these things pertaining to my present employer will all be yours as my special feature for this month of November!

And of course, I will also give you a glimpse to the new career I will have in my new company. So exciting...!!! Oh yeah!

Another Day for Our Departed Love Ones!

Another special day has come. It is the special day to commemorate our love ones who already passed away.

November 1 is All Saint's Day wherein we remember, we pray, we commemorate, and we visit our love ones who already joined our Almighty God. Yeah, just like many of us, we also go to the cemetery to visit them and light candles for them!

Yesterday, we visited the memorial places in Manila North Cemetery our departed lolo, lola, father, and auntie. We lighted candles and pray for their souls.

In our family, five love ones already passed away. Yup, our grandfather on March 4, 1992; our grandmother on December 3, 1999; our father on April 11, 2006; and our auntie just last August 23, 2010. My eldest brother also passed away right after birth on April 8, 1981.

It's our family's tradition to visit them every first day of November. And we light candles for them even in our home at 6pm onwards.

So sad that they already leaved us. But still, we should be glad that they were already in the hands of our Dear Lord.

For them and to all the memories of our departed love ones, I dedicated this post! I love them all..!!! c",)

The New SSS ID!

The new Social Security System (SSS) ID has been launched. And here how it looks like:

Yup, this is a digitized ID card like the size of an ATM. And yes, it works like an ATM since you can withdraw your desire loan through ATM using this card.

Aside from being an enhance digitized ATM ID card, this new SSS ID is unified! It's a unified ID since the other government IDs were merged into it. Your SSS, GSIS, Pag-Ibig, and PhilHealth numbers were all in it. So whenever you need to loan in other government institution or you want to make a transaction, no need to present your other government cards. Only this ID will work for them!

This 2011, I have been hospitalized twice. First was last June for my surgery and the second one was last September when I was diagnosed with Dengue. Thanks God, all things back to normal now!

We are already in the fourth quarter of 2011. Two months to go and we will once more say "Merry Christmas!"

Typhoon Pedring Seems Like Ondoy The Second!

Last Monday, September 26, 2011 seemed like another "Ondoy," a very strong typhoon which hit the country two years ago!

It was because another typhoon named "Pedring" shocked the whole part of Luzon!

News said that this typhoon was stronger than Ondoy! And did you know that the date September 26 when Pedring strike is actually the very same date that Ondoy hit?! Yeah, it was September 26, 2009 when Ondoy devastated the country! Now exactly two years ago, here comes Pedring!

Below are two of the scenarios during the last typhoon Pedring:

On Tuesday, September 27, 2011, the storm signal intensified! Stronger wind struck the land! Greater rain falls flooded majority of the area in Metro Manila!

The worst things: no electricity (full blackout), no telephone line, no MRT/LRT operation, flooded areas, and shocking wind blows!

I know the experience of Ondoy! I was also one of the victims of it two years ago! I experienced to walk on a full flooded Buendia, to be stranded in the flooded road, to be stacked in the office, to walk down from 15TH floor since no elevator because of brownout, and to sleep in the passenger bus for the whole midnight because of the over headed flood!

Thanks God, our manager allowed us to not anymore go to our office (I really can't since there's no more transportation that will bring me to work!).

Now all things return to normal! We are still thankful that Pedring didn't hit us as strong as Ondoy did! All of us were safe and sound! c",)

Mags for Brewed Coffee!

Last month, I had brought two special coffee mags in SM Department store in our place! Two cute and catchy mags that will let you drink and smell the aroma of brewed coffee!!

Actually, there are different designs of the said coffee mag. But I need to buy only two - for me and for my brother since my mom already have one!

And here are what I've chose:

The coffee mags have different designs corresponding to your coffee choice. In my case, I prefer to buy the two mags with design and label of Cappuccino and Espresso coffees!

I'm not contended with these two mags. I have plans of buying the other mags in the department store to include them in my new collection - the mag collection! I promise to myself to comeback in the department store to buy the rest.

But, it was so sad! When I returned to pick the other mags, they were already out of stocks! "Sayang!"

They have new mag collection but I don't like them! I don't want the designs and the styles of the new batch were not my time! Maybe next time, they will have these kind of mags! Hopefully! c",)

September 2011 - "Love Stories in September!"

It's another September! And when September comes, it only reminds me of my past love stories!

September marks the start of Ber months. But for me September speaks of another thing! It is the month of love!

Yeah, my first love and my greatest love affair took place in September!

September 19, 1999 was our anniversary with my first love way back in high school. September 14, 2005 was our anniversary with my so-called top-rating love affair way back in College! Wow!

Two love stories happened to me in the month of September! Hopefully, I can offer and share with you these two great love life I had before!

My love stories in September are my main offering for this month here in The Rock Land. But of course, expect for other exciting surprises!

Now even though I have my new love life, it's still good to look back to the past love affairs you had before! With my past love stories, I learned a lot! They make me a better person and a better lover now! ...A tougher and a more aggressive lover today! Hehe...!!! c",)

I Missed the Kim Hyun Joong Event!

Yesterday night, August 25, 2011, another big event took place in the TriNoma mall. This is called the "Hi-Five Touch" Event!

Yup, the "Boys Over Flower" star and now the hottest K-Pop superstar Kim Hyun Joong who is also a member of the SS501 K-Pop boyband was there to promote his first solo album!

"Sayang!" I wasn't able to catch him! The event was set to start at 6pm! Since I'm working in a night shift wherein my work starts at 10pm, I really have no time to see him!

Hayz...I haven't got a chance to have a picture with one of the hottest Korean F4 member! Kim Hyun Joong is popularly known as Ji Hu, the rival of Jhun Pyo (Lee Min Ho) to Jan Di in the phenomenal hit Korean adaptation of "Meteor Garden!"

He really changed! We truly can't recognized him that he is a former F4 member! That's why I wonder whose the guy in the big poster announcement of "Break Down" posted around the TriNoma mall!

So each of these large vessels imparts its own inimitable character that helps give Zacapa its distinctive taste.

The Mall Tour of the 'Way Back Home' Cast!

It was a very fulfilling experience last Sunday, August 14, 2011! "Grabe sa dami ng tao sa two major malls of Quezon City!" It was because grand fans day and mall tour in SM North EDSA and in Trinoma of the two biggest shows of ABS-CBN.

In SM North EDSA Skydome, Coco Martin, Maja Salvador, Andi Eigenmann, Martin Del Rosario, and the whole cast of "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" were there! Although you need to buy a ticket to watch them, you can't anymore pass through because of too much crowd! And all of them were all shouting and looking for Coco Martin!

I didn't anymore push through the Skydome for Coco Martin. I then decided to watch the four main cast of "Way Back Home" in Trinoma! Yeah, "bumalik uli ako sa Trinoma to watch nalang 'ung mall tour nila which is at 6pm!"

I arrived in Trinoma Park at exactly 4:30pm. But still, "sobra dami na din ng tao!" Thanks God, there was a vacant seat so the guard allowed to enter in front of the stage! Oh yeah!

The show started late at around 7:00pm! When the four young stars namely Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes, Sam Concepcion, and Enrique Gil arrived, people keep on screaming! It became too loud when Enrique came!

There was a contest in the said show. It was a singing contest! Yeah, you will sing the chorus of the theme song of "Way Back Home" called "You're My Home" infront of the stage! And the prize will be a free picture taking with the four lead cast!

"Hobby ko pa naman to have pictures with the stars!" I decided to join sana. But then, "nahiya ako 'cause it was live telecast!" Yeah, there was a camera! So I let the four fans to come on the stage and sing!

Hayz...sayang! The four contestants got the chance to have a picture with them! I contended myself then to watch them and took pictures of them!

But I got the chance to touch one of the four stars! I was able to touch the body of Enrique Gil! Haha! Because during their exit, Enrique was trapped in the crowd! And I was beside him! "Sa sobrang tulakan, nahawakan ko ang katawan at biceps ni Enrique Gil!"

Well, even though I haven't got my picture with them, I'm still lucky to touch and hold one of the most shouted stars of the event! "Pero sayang din...!" Much better to have a picture of our incident! Hehe....

The 'Go AZKALS Go' Theme Song!

The hottest Philippine Football Team which is the AZKALS is getting more and more popular! They even have now lots and lots of exposures! And honestly speaking, I am now addicted to them!

Because of being the hottest sports team in the country, a theme song for this team has been created! And it is entitled as "Go AZKALS Go!"

The said team is so energetic! It cheers the AZKALS to strive and to show the best that they can!

My Third Adsense Payment!

Here we go again! Thanks God, I once more received another Adsense Payment! This time it's my third!

Yeah, this is my third received payments from my Google ads! And this third payment is the highest!

Here are details of the said payment. Take a look at them:

Yup, this is the highest Adsense payment I received so far! The payment is amounting to $179.50. Or in Philippine peso, I received a total of Php8,420. Great!

As a standard process, I redeemed my payment in our nearest Western Union outlet! I got it on the last day of July!

Just like I always do, I save my money in my bank! But of course I share some to my mother and brother! I gave Php500 to my brother while Php1,000 to my mom! I even gave another Php2,000 to my mother to buy our new gas stove!

At the end of July, my Adsense earnings closed at $99.14! And for sure by the end of September, I will get another payment when the amount reach a minimum of $100! Yippee!!! Of course, I will share it with you to give you inspiration!

Christopher Lao's name is very famous nowadays! He's already a trending topic on Twitter because of his “floating car” video. He is also the topic of many blogs and a Facebook Fan Page called “Christopher Lao (ang bobong sinugod ang kotse sa baha)” already created for him and got 40,000 plus likes now!

Lao became famous after GMA-7 reported about his “floating” car in their news program "24 Oras" last Tuesday.

The video of his segment in "24 Oras" was uploaded in YouTube. The incident was caught on camera by GMA-7 reporter Jun Veneracion. The man driving the said car was Christopher Lao, a UP College of Law student, who braced his car to the deep flood waters in Quezon City.

Here is the said video which already became viral! Let's watch this:

Aside from the said video, Lao's statements also become a punchline. Here are those words from Lao which are now huge hits:

Yup, one of my hobbies now is planting. I am now a collector of different plants. And I placed it outside our house, just in front of our door surrounding our home!

While we were having picture takings with her son Elmo, Ms. Pia was currently gracing live interviews from Studio 23, TV5, and GMA-7. After our photoshots with Elmo, I waited a while to have a shot with his mommy.

After her interview, I said, "Mam can we have picture?" And she willingly posed with me.

Since very few people were on our side, we got perfect photos. "Hindi masyado magalaw" unlike with Elmo. And these two were our best photos!

If Elmo and I look like brother, me and Ms. Pia on the other hand look like mother and son! Hehehe...

After Ms. Pia, I had one more shot. It was now with Ms. Tessa Nieto-Valdez! Coming it to you shortly...!!! c",)

The recently concluded event of Hewlett-Packard or HP and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas or BSP which aims to promote original products and fight fakes allow me to mingle with celebrities. And I took my opportunities to have pictures with them!

The first one is with the young actor / singer Elmo Magallona. Yup, he is the son of the late Master Rapper Francis Magallona.

And here are some of our photos:

We couldn't have a perfect shot with Elmo (aside from the first one above) since we're on the middle of the crowd. "Sobrang dami ng tao" around him asking for his autograph!

Well, while he was signing his autograph, I came closer to him. Then say, "Elmo pa-picture!" And he willingly posed pictures with me using my cellphone. It's hard to fit both our faces together in the camera. "Medyo magalaw pa sa dami ng tao." But still, he is willing to have a second, third, and fourth takes! Hahaha!

We got four takes in all that's why we have four pictures together! It's up to you to chose the best shot!

An HP Printer and BSP Money Endorser!

It's nice to be an endorser and advocate promoting original products! In the recently concluded event which fights fake products, I'm so glad being one of a commercial models!

Hewlett-Packard or HP company and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas or BSP joined hands in promoting original products and fighting counterfeited items. The event was called 'No to Fakes' and was held in Landmark Trinoma Mall. It was delegated by other celebrities like Tessa Nieto-Valdez, Bam Aquino, Pia Magallona, and Elmo Magallona.

Below are some of my photoshots in the said event. Let's take a quick glance on these:

Aside from being a perfect endorser of their genuine products, I also enjoyed the different booths provided by these two big companies.

One of the booths is the BSP booth wherein they allow you to exchange your old peso bill to the new one. I was able to exchange my Php500, Php100, Php50, and Php20 bills into the new ones!

I also enjoyed the pictorial for a magazine cover. Yes, they'll launch their magazine called 'Original' mag and I'm the cover boy! Hehe...! I'll share with you the said cover in my next post.

And most of all, I enjoyed picture taking with the stars like Tessa Nieto-Valdez, Pia Magallona, and Elmo Magallona! Yup, I'll share with you those pictures in my next posts! Exciting!

We also watched a simple concert performed by Elmo and Imago during the event! Great!

This said event is a two-part event. I attended the first one. It was really fun and fulfilling even though I went home at 3pm from a night shift work! Hehe...!!! c",)

The Advocate of Original Products!

Just this Wednesday morning, I accidentally attended a special event in Trinoma Mall. The event was brought by the largest IT company HP (Hewlett-Packard) and BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) which aims to fight fake products.

The event is called "No to Fake!" There were special booths wherein they give trivia about Philippine money, tells about the history of money, features visual effects showing the real peso bill, let us exchange our old or defective HP printers for the new ones, and let us exchange old peso bill for the new one.

And the thing I love most in the said event is that they gave us a free pictorial for a magazine cover! And the magazine is printed in a glossy paper using a hi-tech colored HP printer. It's free! So I took the opportunity! Hehehe...!!! On my next post, I will let you see how the magazine cover looks like!

Aside from these, the event gave us a short program, a talk show featuring four of the hottest celebrities. They were the singer Tessa Nieto-Valdez, the celebrity mom Pia Magallona, the advocate Bam Aquino, a stylish blogger, and the singer/actor Elmo Magallona!

Yes, I took pictures with Tessa, Pia, and Elmo! And I will share with you those pictures in my succeeding posts! Exciting!

Elmo Magallona even sung a song for us. Afterwards he graced interview together with his mom. The event was concluded by a live band Imago who performed music for us while we were waiting for our magazine cover printouts!

I Missed This Event!

So sad that I missed this event:

It's already three months ago before I learned that there is a Bloggers Night sponsored by Kenny Rogers Roaster. The even is called "Kenny's Bloggers Night."

This event is a gathering of all the active bloggers around the net. Of course there were free foods and meals offered by the restaurant. But the big event was that, the hottest AZKALS brothers Phil and James Younghusband were there!

Yup, Phil and James were the special guests of the event since they were the newest endorsers of this restaurant! And they will share their insights via interviews. They were free for questions and answers and of course for picture taking! "Sayang"!

Hayz...too late to know! When I surf the net, I saw many blogs featuring this event. And I saw many bloggers having their picture takings with Angel Locsin's rumored boyfriend Phil Younghusband!

"Sayang talaga...!" "Sana ngayon I have pictures with the AZKALS heartthrobs na ipagyayabang...!!!" Hopefully there's more next time! Hoping...!!! c",)

We are now living on the modern busy world! Works, activities, business, and other things that really needs physical attention were surrounding our lives. And because of being too busy, sometimes we forget to pay attention to one of the most important needs - education!

Some people who already got a job didn't anymore pursue their students. Many employees nowadays have lack of education. They reason out that since they already earning money, why need to continue study or pursue another degree!

Other people who already had a job even wants to have a degree! But the problem and the main barrier is time! Lack of time to study!

But since we're already on the modern world, this is not anymore a major problem! The solution is online education!

Since internet is truly an in-demand need nowadays, online education is now offered! Yes, there is now an education on the internet which offers Online Courses. Name it, they have it!

Variety of degrees and courses are now on the internet! For instance in the field of nursing and medicine, there is an online degree programs in nursing.

Another example is the http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ which gives a Free Application For Federal Student Aid! Nice!

See, it's truly a hassle free!These online degree programs let us earn our degree while still working full or part-time. We can study at our own convenient time! Even the house moms or house dads can take online course on their free time! Great!

With these online programs, no more reasons to say no, no to education! Rather we can now say, go...go..go..!!! c",)

The Search for a Puma Bag!

Last Tuesday morning right after my nigh shift work, I go to Trinoma to look for a Puma bag. Yup, it's for my brother. He will use it as a school bag.

I go to the department store of Trinoma to look for the said bag. My brother desire for a shoulder Puma bag. But I fail to see what he's looking for.

Until I go to the Puma store still located in Trinoma. And I found a bag similar to his need. Below:

Too Big to Handle!

The Price is So High!

Yeah, that said bag is very similar to what my brother wants. But it's too big! It didn't looks like a school bag but a vacation package bag! And look, the price is too high! It's almost Php2,000 plus!

Well, I took then the opportunity. I like the saleslady who attended me. And I ask her to took this photos of me holding and wearing the said bag! Hehe...!

Yeah, I want to have a picture with her. But it's too obvious to ask her to have a picture with me!

To end up the story, I just bought a similar bag in Bench. And my brother now is using it! c",)

The Last Movie Date!

Until now, I wasn't yet fully recovered from the pain brought by my wounded heart. Still, the short memories we have keep on haunting me!

I was with that person month ago watching the romance-drama movie of Angel Locsin, Aga Muchlach and Jake Cuenca. While we're watching the film, our hands were holding too tight! And that made us feel the real emotion and love brought by the said film!

I even loved the soundtrack of the said movie. Eventually, I remembered her whenever the said music was played! That was my theme song for her.

After having our movie date, we still go out together. I even plan to have another movie date to her. But eventually, "In the Name of Love" will be our last movie date!

We have no communications at all for the last two weeks. I missed her texts. When I text her last Monday, I received a too painful bad news! I asked her for another date. But a painful replied said: "Malabo na, Committed na ako!" Ouch! "Kelan pa," I asked. "Two weeks ago!"

I think I'm loving her na! Why did now that she's gone makes me missed her?! Why did I realized too late that I needed her?!

Hayz...I don't want to watch a movie or an event anymore! I'm gonna lost now my Chicago White Sox Tickets or my Los Angeles Angels Tickets. So sad that I couldn't anymore share with her my Chicago Cubs Tickets or my Houston Astros Tickets. It's so sad if I'll watch alone using my Los Angeles Dodgers Tickets!

Right now I'm trying to heal the pain! I'm looking for a better one! Hope that God will send me a better person that would heal the wound in my heart! Seems that I'm once again taken...taken for granted! =(

I Got Free Men's Items from My Men's Health Magazine!

I am an avid reader and collector of Men's Health Magazine since September 2009. Every month, I bought a copy of it. My bookshelf cabinet was almost full because of these magazines as well as my other magazine collections.

I love this magazine because it gives me proper training workout tips and healthy food diets. It also gives health facts about foods, prevention of diseases, and sex guides. Featured male actors also shared workout tips on how they got a chiseled sexy body!

But the June's issue of the said magazine is the one I love most! It's because, it gives lots of free items! Yeah, it gives a complete men's kikay kit all for free!

I Like the Free Pouch Bag

It's so extravagant! The amount of the magazine is only Php140. But the free men's items were more than the magazine's price!

The free items were a pouch bag, a Dove for men soap, a Clear Men Shampoo, a Rexona Sports Deodorant, and Vaseline Men Facial Wash! When I looked at the actual individual price of the items in the department store, the Dove is Php62, the Rexona is Php82, the Vaseline is Php84, and the Clear Shampoo is Php70. Summing the amount, its greater than the actual magazine's price! Amazing!

I bought the said magazine on Shell Select in Ayala, Makati. I wonder why the said magazine has free men's package only in Shell Select. In other bookstores like in SM, Trinoma, or in Book Sales, the magazine has no free items!

So I immediately took the opportunity to buy the said magazine right after my night shift work in Shell Select. "Hirap na baka magka-ubusan!" Thanks God I grabbed one!

Now, I enjoyed the magazine as well as its free products with my brother! "Minsan lang 'to!" Hopefully sa susunod uli...! c",)

The Billboards Which Cause Accidents!

These are the two of the very controversial billboards posted along the busy roads of EDSA.

The models are mainly the members of today's hottest football teams. They were very daring on the said billboards wearing only underwear and exposing their hot bodies. All of the them endorse the hit clothing brand Bench.

AZKALS' Aly Borromeo on Estrella Street Rockwell

The Philippine Rugby Team on EDSA Guadalupe

The Team Captain of AZKALS football team Aly Borromeo was spotted on Edsa Southbound, in between Guadalupe and Estrella Street/Rockwell. On the other hand, the Philippine National Rugby Team, also known as the Philippine Volcanoes, spotted on EDSA Guadalupe.

Because of the different complaints for the said billboards, MMDA chairman already removed the said billboards of the Philippine Rugby Team. The billboard of Aly Borromeo is the next target!

Someday I will be having daring billboards just like these! But I'm thinking right now if I'll continue to do so...! "Sayang naman baka ipatanggal din!" c",)

Counting Down My Blog Earnings Last 2nd Quarter of 2011!

My blogs now are like golden geese who were laying golden eggs. Just like trees, there are now grown and giving me sweet fruits! They are giving me extra income right not!

It's like a harvest time last second quarter of 2011 (April - June). "Panahon ng anihan...anihan ng pera!" I already harvested the fruits of my blogs! They already bear fruits for me! They already laid golden eggs for me!

I like to summarize the income I received last quarter from my blogs. Yup, not included on this are the previous ones I received from January to March 2011.

Just this month, I registered to two new income generating ads for blogs. One is a pop ad while the other one is a revenue generated from traffics.

And by the end of July, I will receive another Google Adsense payments, my third payment through Western Union! Yipee! The said incoming payment closed at $179. Don't worry, I will share with you that said income when I received it at the end of the month!
