We had a fun night last week at the APEX Lounge of Seventh High in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), The Fort Taguig. The international heartthrob Chris Cayzer serenaded us with his rock and melo music together with his band led by Ali Alejandro in an event dubbed as the "Soul Nite."
But aside from the music of Chris, we enjoyed more the foods served by the resto bar. Yes, the Seventh High brought us four of their newest best offering which completed our night. Well, check out those dishes that fulfilled our senses:
The Chicken Barbeque Quesadillas
Yes, this is the menu I love the most! It is a Barbeque chicken Breast and Monterey Jack Cheese Sandwiched between Crispy Tortilla! It's so yummy that you will truly ask for more! Take note, I ate three plates of this dish! It's tastier and yummier than the regular taco we used eat.

The Wild Mushroom Pasta
As the term suggests, this is the type of pasta recipe that will drive you wild! Yeah, this food made me wilder on the said night. Imagine that I even went up the stage jammin' and singin' with Chris! Wow! This recipe is made up of Shitake White button porcini mushrooms sauteed with cream and tossed with linguine pasta, finished with truffle oil.

The Steak and Egg
What if an ordinary egg made so special blended with meaty ingredients?! Well, that was the third dish served to us during the "Soul Nite." At first, we can easily recognize it as a simple egg. But when you taste it, ...awesome! The menu is made up of seared beef tenderloin topped with sunny side up quail egg. It is served with English muffin and bearnaise sauce.

The Sticky Rice and Mango Flambe
Now it's time for dessert! And since I'm a dessert-lover person, I appreciate all the desserts served to me and even want to make my own style! During the said night, I discover something new and interesting dessert to serve to our guest. It's a combination of two popular Pinoy delicacies - rice cake and mango! Who knows that these two foods can be put together to give us something new! This dessert is a local rice cake and fresh ripe mangoes tossed in caramel syrup.

Great, four new dishes which captivated our taste buds! Now, there were four new menus to crave for! Thanks to Seventh High for letting us taste their new masterpieces!
If you were to ask, which of these four servings do you love and like the most?! Which of them will you taste first?!
The said "Soul Nite" event not only fed our ears with great good songs from Chris Cayzer, it fed our stomach with yummy foods as well! Two thumbs up Seventh High for this! We will truly come back for more! (RCB)
