I Remember The Days VI: "First Night Shift!"

Tomorrow, February 11, I'll be celebrating my 2nd year anniversary here in my company! Hayz...time was really so fast! It was just recently, I graduated in College, then immediately applied for my first job, then resigned from it and hired to the second one...'till hired here in my third company! And now, I am celebrating my 2nd year tenure! Thanks God!

As part of my 2nd year celebration, I will share with you another moments during my early days here in my company!

Yup, that was my very first night shift experience here in our company! Yeah, in this company, I experienced to work in US time or in a night shift. Since our big bosses were in US and we need to coordinate with them, we were assigned to work following their time!

Those pictures above were taken during our team meeting! See how cool we were during the meeting! Lots of fun, laughter, and joys were all in the faces of night shifters!

Actually these were also the night meeting wherein our manager gave recognition, appreciations, and souvenir items to the member who did well in the job! And glad to say that I'm one of those! =)

A Valentines and A Chinese New Year Inspired 'Rockz Cafe!'

Red is the color of February! It stands for the two main celebration for this month. And what a coincidence, they were both celebrated on the same date this year - February 14!

Yup, Valentines Day and Chinese New Year will be both celebrated this coming February 14. And since two event in one day, everybody prepares for it!

In accordance to this celebration, I also designed my cafe in my favorite Cafe World game in Facebook using this theme! Just like what you see, your favorite Rockz Cafe is now dressed in red!

The Most Romantic Cafe To Be This Valentines...

So Clean...So Good...So Red...!!!

Red is the symbol for love. Red then is a symbol for goodluck in Chinese beliefs. So, combining love and goodluck for a fortune and prosperity, I used the Valentine and the Chinese New Year for my cafe.

Starting from the flooring, it is designed with pale-red tiles. To blend it with the walls, I used a dark red paint. Of course you would see a blue portion of the walls depicting buildings and towers. Yeah, I put this blue portion since according to the Chinese Horoscope, blue is the luckiest color for this year!

Now look at the chairs and tables, there were perfect match! I chose the red chairs to combine with the red-white square dinning tables. See, they were perfectly blended! Of course to spread love and prosperity, I surrounded my place with light-red ornamental flowers!

More and More Customers were Attracted!

What can you say with my design and cafe theme? Do you love it?!

Proud to say that I am now on Level 20 of the game! And my earnings keep on increasing! This enables me to buy other things and designs for my cafe! Actually those designs and materials here in my cafe were so expensive that's why my income lessen why I buy those things! But it doesn't matter since I was fulfilled and satisfied with the looks and styles of my cafe!

Just like what I have said before, I will keep you updated with my cafe world addiction. Time to time whenever new designs and developments were made in my Rockz Cafe, I will let you know it!

Welcome to the 'Rockz Cafe'!

Right now, I am owning a restaurant! This is called the Rockz Cafe following my name. And it's getting bigger and bigger!

Of course, just like we always do, I will let you come and visit it!

Hahaha! Yeah, just like many of us, I really get addicted! I am now a certified addict...addict...a certified Cafe World Addict! And here's what I got, my own restaurant or a cafe bar!

My Humble Beginning...

I Started to Renovate My Cafe as My Income Increases!

At first, I have no interest with this Facebook's game. I was then addicted to its other application like the Farmville and the Fishville. I even ignore my friends inviting me to be their neighbors.

But due to curiosity, I tried it! Then afterwards, I doesn't even care to it! I still focus myself in Farmville and Fishville!

My brother was the first one who got addict with this! He even showed me how his cafe grows! Hmmm...I tried playing it again once...then twice...then thrice...then up to the nth time 'till now! Slowly, I realized myself getting addict with this! And now, this is my favorite Facebook game! It now surpassed my Farmville and Fishville addiction!

It Grows... It Grows as Time Passes By!

This is Now My Current Cafe which Attracts More and More Customers!

I named my own cafe as the "Rockz Cafe"! It started as a small plain cafe having few things and no design at all! Then as I cook more and more foods, deserts, burgers, or other menus, I earned more and more money! My game level eventually increases!

As my level increases and as I earn more and more money, I was then able to buy more things and properties which I can use to design my own resto. I can then expand my place! Actually its my third time to expand my cafe!

From the pictures above see how my cafe world evolves from a small plain stall to a red attractive resto now! Sorry, I wasn't able t provide you with my very first cafe resto since at first I didn't like it! The blue one that I have above was I think my second or third level! Initially, I have only two tables, two stoves, two counters, and a brown plain floor!

Well, what can you say? Don't worry, this is not only once! Later, when my cafe transforms to a new one, I will let you see it! Yeah, this is only my first part! Later, I will share you more!

That was the first you saw the real actor who played the role of Bro (Jesus Christ) in the hit top-rated multi-awarded inspirational TV series "May Bukas Pa"! And that particular post here in my site was most visited all over world!

And because of this, many requested to see who was that person playing the character of Bro! All got curious to see more Bro pictures and wanted to know him well!

So due to insisted public demand, here is the actor who played Bro in "May Bukas Pa"! Get to know him more:

Bro's character is the latest talk of the town! More and more people get curious about him since his face was hidden in the TV series. But his pictures were all exposed around the internet! More and more sites feed us with the pictures of bro as well as the actor who played it! Therefore, I will also provide you with more pictures of Bro and give you some quick details about him!

It was confirmed from the different sources that the person appeared above holding Santino was the actor playing the role of Bro. Yup, his name is Love Thadani. He is a Fil-Indian-Italian model! Just like what you have seen on the pictures above, he is really a certified hunk model!

Definitely, it's not! He was the former boyfriend of the ex-Pinoy Big Brother Season 1 housemate Chx Alcala! Infact, he was also seen in the Coco Martin's Indie Film "Condo"!

The Evolution of My Workstation!

In accordance to my second year anniversary celebration here in my company, I promised you that this February, one of my three main dishes here in The Rock Land is all about my humble beginning in my company!

One of the important part of the company where you perform your daily work is the workstation! Our workstation or cubicle can we somewhat called as our second room next to our personal rooms in our homes.

Therefore here in my company, the most important place for me is my own workstation! For my two-year tenure here in my office, my workstation also grows...it evolves!

Here's how my workstation evolves from my very first day in my company to the present time:

Feb. 11 to June 2008 - "My First Workstation"

June to Sept. 2008 - "Brand New Workstation in the New Office"

Sept. 2008 to Nov. 2009 - "My Solo Artistic Mini-Office"

Nov. 2009 to Present - "A Wider More Expose Station"

What can you say about this evolution? Which of the era above you like the most?!

(February 11 - June 2008) - My very first workstation was in our former main office in RCBC Tower, Makati City. There, my area was too plain and simple without any decorations! It has a plain green walls that surrounded me. My table was a shinny light-brown with varnish! My first computer here was the old black CRT!

(June - September 2008) - Then, when we transferred to our second office here now in McKinley, The Fort, I have also located into a new workstation. This time the walls were composed of three colors: red, brown, and gray that were fine to the eyes! My table then was a smooth plain white. There, I started to put decorations and arts in my place! Still my PC there was a CRT.

(September 2008 - November 2009) - We made our first transfer within the office in September of 2008. Again, I was placed to the new workstation. But since it was within the same office, still same workstation style. In this area, I got my new LCD flat screen PC. This adds design to my area. It really saves space! I then used my extra space in putting more arts and designs in my work station!

(November 2009 - Present) - I am now here in my present workstation! Well, do I need to describe it more since I already featured it here in my previous post?! Hmmm...maybe the only thing that makes difference is that it is more wider and more expose to the people behind me! Still my arts and designs are similar to my previous but it is more attractive now!

I don't know when we will transfer again to a new workstation. But for now, I still keep my area more beautiful and attractive! And take note, I always ensure my area to be fragrant and disinfected since everyday, I always rub alcohol on it! My table then became really smooth!

This picture was taken from our office way back in 2008! Two years had already passed. Like I've told you, I will be celebrating my 2nd Year Anniversary here in my work this coming February 11. And I will share with you each of my bits and pieces for this one!

We're already now in the month of February! And when we are speaking of February, only one word comes in our mine...and that is Valentines!

So if February is for Valentines, you already expect that most of my post here are all about love! Just like I have presented to you in the first month of the year, my lineups for February will be all about my different love stories! But aside from these, what more do you expect?

From third year high school 'till now, I have been involved in the different love stories! Just like your favorite romantic movies or your avidly watched teleserye, my lovelife is just like these! So, read about these exciting posts!

2.) FORTUNE - Chinese New Year formally opens or starts in February! The year of the tiger will begins to reign this month. Since our lives were very much influenced by Chinese beliefs and traditions and since I have a Chinese blood, for sure I will post articles dedicated to Chinese new year! "Kung Hei Fat Choi..."!

3.) CAREER - And most of all. February is my second year anniversary! Yeah, it's my second year anniversary in my company! February 11, 2008 to be exact was the date that I started to work here in my third company! I will share with you some of my memorable experiences here in my company. And of course, I will tell you how I started here, how I grow, how my career here really blooms!! It will gonna be looking back and beyond here in my corporate work!

The Rock's Choco-Gelatin Dessert

Last Sunday, I've tried another recipe! Just like I did before, I made my own but this time it was a dessert!

I know all of you were really familiar with gelatin! Yup, this is the soft-bar gelatin which is boiled in hot water to melt then afterward will be cooled until it solidifies and eventually form as a gelatin. This is usually serve during holidays. And take note, this is my favorite!

So, to make a difference, I experimented a new flavor of it!

Setting Aside the Boiled Mixture to Cool

Usually this gelatin comes in buko pandan, white, or in a variety of colored flavors. But this time, I tried experimenting a new flavor...a chocolate one!

How this differs from the usual one? How did I make it?!

First, the great difference with this was that it was my own made! A rocky inspired recipe! Yeah, I just made an experiment to cook and serve a gelatin in a chocolate flavor! But take note, the gelatin that I have used was the ordinary white one. I just added other ingredients to make it a chocolate flavor!

What are the ingredients? Of course the ordinary white bar gelatin to be boiled in hot water, an evaporated milk (my first plan was to use a fresh UHT milk, but since my brother drank the fresh milk, I have left nothing but to use the evaporated one!), white sugar, and the powder chocolate (similar to the Hershey's Brand Choco/Cocoa usually served in the different food chains). Now that my ingredients were complete, I started creating the recipe!

So dark, yummy, and chocolaty!

Here how I made it:

First, boiled the bar gelatin in hot water. When it was totally dissolved, mix the powder chocolate with it and wait 'till the powder choco dissolved in it. Make sure it was totally blended with the hot boiling gelatin. You will see like a hot boiling chocolate drink! Afterward, pour the evaporate milk with the mixture. The former dark boiling chocolate will now turning into a lighter chocolate! Then add table spoons of sugar! Wait for a couple of minutes then when the mixture was totally boiling, turn-off now your stove to start the cooling process!

Now, remove your mixture from the stove and set it aside to cool. Then pour now the mixture into different gelatin plates. When the mixture was distributed into their appropriate plates, allow them to be totally cooled! When they were cooled, store them now in your refrigerator! That's it! There were now ready to serve and eat!

So easy right! But how does it taste?!

The look and appearance was like a hot chocolate drinks serve in the different food chains solidified into a gelatin. But in my recipe, the taste of milk and chocolate will be tasted since lots of milk were poured to a mixture of dark chocolate! Imagine the taste of Hershey's Kisses chocolate, it taste like that!!! Terrific! I made another recipe of my own!

My mother and brother truly enjoyed my new recipe! They loved it and asked for more! Since my recipe became successful, I promised to them to made another one! But next time, I will now use my original plan of mixing it with the Fresh UHT milk instead of the evaporated!

Facebook Addiction!

Everybody go crazy about Facebook. In fact last 2009, Facebook is the No. 1 most visited, most searched, and most popular website all over the world! In other words, it is the No. 1 Social Networking Site last year 'till this early 2010. It grabbed the thrown from the previous hit Friendster, its counter-like social networking site! According to the different news and articles, with its millions and millions of subscribers, Facebook can now be a nation!

At first, I don't have any interest with Facebook. I was more active before in Friendster. Friendster before is my main social networking site though I also have a Multiply and Hi-5 accounts! All my friends have already their Facebook accounts, me don't have any!

Until last December, when I got my PC in our home, I started to create my own Facebook account! At first too boring for me since you cannot personalize your own profile like Friendster provide, but eventually I became interested to this new social-networking site!

A Growing Farm...

I wonder why almost all of my friends got addicted to Facebook! Even in our office, my officemates were talking about Farmville. They were having fun with their farms, villas, plantations, and harvests! They all aiming to got the highest points therefore many of my officemates were bringing their portable USB internet broadband in our office so that their plants wouldn't get withered!

Hayz...at first I just laughed at their crazy deeds! They got addicted with Facebook! Their word of mouths were all Facebook and Facebook! What's in this Facebook that everybody got hooked?!Hmmm...

Then after I created my account on December, my first goal with Facebook was just to earn more friends and to update my other friends with my latest activities, pictures, and status! But it turned out to be a different thing! I got addicted with the following:

Welcome to my Cafe Resto!

Hahaha! Yeah, I already became one of them...one of the Facebook Addicts! Besides earning more friends and relationships with Facebook, I got addicted with these Facebook games. Farmville, Fishville, and Cafe World were now part of my internet hobbies!

On my first sign-up with Facebook, I was so busy adding friends. Glad that on my second day of my Facebook account, I already got hundreds of friends. It was eventually increased as my account now stepped on its 1 and 1/2 months. But I was not anymore busy with adding friends, instead I was busy adding neighbors! Haha!

I was first got addicted with Fishville. I lot designing and raising different breeds of fishes. When they grow up, I can now sell my fishes giving me lots of money. These earnings enable me to buy other more fishes, aquarium plants, decorations, and even buy other more tanks. And as you harvest and buy more aquarium things, your XP points increases and your level also get higher!

Afterwards, I also got hooked with Farmville. With Farmville, you will really feel that you are like a haciendero owning a farm! You can plant different plants and harvest them afterward. These plants and seeds have their own time span of growing. If you fail to harvest them on their specified time, they were get withered! But if you harvest them on their appropriate time, you will earn money. Just like Fishville, these moneys enable you to buy other seeds, animals, buildings, and decorations. You can even expand your lots! Great!

And lastly, my third game with Facebook is the Cafe World! I just recently opened it. In this game, you were like owning a resto or cafe business! The mechanics were similar to Fishville and Farmville! I will discuss it t you more on my next post!

My farm was now growing and expanding! I now owned lots of things and animals! I love taking pictures of it! Oops... don't worry 'coz I have my separated post exclusively about my Farmville. And also I have an exclusive separated posts for my Fishville and Cafe World! So be ready for that! Haha!

Tigers!

Still we are welcoming the year of the tiger! Though the Chinese New Year is about to come, expect that more and more tiger image and tiger things are about to sell. And of course, tiger then will be the talk of the town!

Just like cats and puppies, did you know that I also like tiger? Yeah, tiger somewhat reflects my personality! It was somewhat became my trademark!

White Tigers As Cute As Bears!

Above were the different image of tigers! Actually it was just a year ago when I knew that there were also a white bleed of tigers! And they were cuter than the orange-stripped tigers that we always know!

Since I love wild animals stuff, I am easily attracted to the cute soft tiger stuff toys! I love collecting them! I love the cute little baby tigers. They were like cats! So tame and kind when baby, but we should beware of them when they become adults as they will become as wild as they could!

One of my personality is like a tiger. Tame, kind, but WILD! I am a very kind friend, but I am the wildest enemy! Just like tigers that were brave and courageous, I am also brave and courage in facing different challenges in life! I am a fighter that fights my enemies! I just then remember my former role as a 'sugo' and as a 'superhero' in the hit fantaserye! Haha!!

Like what I have said before, in college, tiger became my trademark! I always put a tiger image in my experiment paper. Our professor really loved my design in my paper leading me to have the highest grade!!!

Batang 90's Ka Ba?!

Are you a 90's baby?! If you're, well definitely you will like this the way I do:

• Masaya ka kapag naglalaro ka ng Tex at Pog. Kadalasan ang design dito ay yung mga palabas sa TV, mga drama o kaya anime, may dialogue pa. lol.

• May comics pa ang bazooka. Kahit di mo maintindihan yung Fortune Cookie sa huli ay collection mo pa rin yun.

• Uso pa yung tirador, yung gawa talaga sa sanga ng puno. (pero ang alam ko na tirador nung bata ako eh ung dalawang stick ng bananaQ gagawin mong ekis tapos goma tapos Stork Candy wrapper para sa lagayan ng bato. ^^)

• Ang mga babae naglalaro ng paper dolls na tigpipiso bawat isang set sa sari-sari store.

• Kung lalake ka, siguradong may pellet gun ka.

• Humihingi ka ng dalawang piso sa magulang mo para maglaro ng video arcade sa sari-sari store. Favorite mo yung Sonic, Mario at Street Fighter at Tetris.

• Nagwa-watusi ka kapag New Year kahit pinapagalitan ka ng nanay mo.

• Meron kang sapatos na umiilaw yung swelas kapag iniaapak mo. Mas sikat kung iba-iba yung kulay. Tinawag rin itong "Mighty Kid"

• Merong at least isang Chicago Bulls na shirt sa bahay nyo. Madalas number 23 pa yung nakalagay.

• Pinapatulog ka ng yaya/nanay mo tuwing tanghali o hapon para raw lumaki. Hindi na kasi pinapatulog ang mga bata ngayon tuwing tanghali di tulad nung panahon natin.

• Sinasabihan ka ng matatanda na may lalabas na pari o bigas sa sugat mo kapag hindi nilagyan ng alcohol pero in the end, betadine lang ang magpapatahimik sa inyo.

• Pampalipas oras mo dati ang paglalaro ng Brick Game, at swerte yung mga may advanced version na may tumatagos na blocks para mapuno na yung gap sa loob. Mas advanced ka kung Tamagotchi ang nilalaro mo. Pinapakain mo, pinapatulog mo, at inililibing mo kung namatay na. At kung talagang kaya nyong bumili, Game Boy ang sayo. Pero kung wala ka talaga, yung laruan na lang na may tubig sa loob tapos dapat ma-shoot mo yung mga bilog sa stick na maliit.

• Bago magsimula ang klase, nakikilaro ka muna sa 10-20, jackstone, langit lupa, ice water, taguan, dr. quack quack, tumbang preso, pepsi seven up at agawan base, brikidam 123. Di bale nang madumi na ang uniform mo pagpasok ng classroom.

• Sinasabi mo sa kaklase mo na "Liars go to hell" kapag tingin mo nagsisinungaling sya. "Cross my heart, hope to die" kapag nangangako ka. "Period no erase" kapag gusto mo walang kumontra sayo. Kaya lang wala kang lusot kapag sinabi ng kaklase mo na "Akin yung factory ng pambura".

I Love Collecting Funny Comics!

• Sikat ka pag ang pencil case mo nabubuksan sa dalawang side tapos maraming attachments like magnifying lens, book stand, compartments na maliliit tapos push button pa. Minsan sa ibabaw ng pencil case meron pang maze, may maliit na silver na bola tapos itatagilid mo yung pencil case para gumulong yun, hanggang sa matapos yung maze.

• Di ka baduy kung ang notebook mo nung elementary ay may mukha ng artista.

• Sa coolman mo inilalagay ang tubig na baon mo sa school.

• Nagpabili ka ng Baby-G sa magulang mo.

• Elementary ka nung nauso ang pager. Yun pa ang pinapangarap ng mga bata, hindi pa cell phone.

• Meron ka pa rin ng pinakamalaking cell phone na nakatago na ngayon sa mga kahon.

• Wala pang PS/PS2, XBox, Wii, atbp. noon. Family Computer pa lang, yung cartridge yung bala. Usong laro ang Mario Bros., Battle City at Rambo.

• Meron ka ng isa sa mga ito: Family Computer, Nintendo, Sega, roller blades, brick game, Tamagochi, Swatch Watch w/ matching guard, Troll collection.

Every start of the new year, you would see different teasers from the different TV stations of the new TV series that they will offer to their avid viewers. They gave us a short trailer teasers of what to expect in the early quarter of the year.

Well, if I were to ask you, what will you expect here in The Rock Land for this year?

Just like the two giant TV stations always do to give us a quick run down of what new TV series to expect, I will then give you a quick teaser of what topics and contents to expect for the first quarter of this year! Ready?! C'mon!

For the first quarter of 2010, here are the main topics that you should watch out only here in your favorite blog site, "The Rock Land". These are the flavor of the months:

Looking Forward in The Year of the Tiger!

I have recently ended the year of the Ox successful! You were with me as we count down the Top 10 blessings I had from the past year.

Now, we are already in the year of the tiger. As we look back in the year of 2009, definitely now in the year of 2010, we should then look forward to the new coming year!

Again, join me as I now count down what to expect in 2010. What are my plans, what are the things that I will do, and what other roles I will pursue this year of the tiger!

I ended 2009 with a BANG! Now in 2010, I am looking for more explosive and more challenging BANG! What are my expectations...?! What are my plans...?! What will I do next...?! Well, here is my shortlist:

1. Higher Responsibility in the Corporate Work - This year, I am groomed to handle more challenging role. On the succeeding months, I will take the role of a Test Manager in a particular release!

2. More Successful Career Path - More promising career opportunities, more challenging roles leading to a more successful career path!

3. The Quest for a Sexy Body - Hopefully at the end of the year or before our Summer outing, I have now own a sexier body! I'm hoping to be one of the sexiest hunk! Hayz...need to be more serious in my training workout!

4. Brilliant Lovelife - As I successfully ended the year of the Ox having a flying color in my career, now it's time to get the love of my life! Should now need to grab the lucky person that I will love!

5. More Active Sex Life - Just this week I had an active sex life. As I became more bankable, hope that my sex life will be more active! Expect for more mature and sexy roles this year! Many bed and daring scenes...Haha!

6. Shinning Blogs - The success and rise of my different blog sites flourished last year! Now that we are in the new year, expect for more exciting and interesting blog contents! Hope I can start developing the blog site I have in mind!

7. More Savings and Investments - In the middle of the year last 2009, I started having my own bank savings deposit. Now at the end of this year, hope to save and invest more! I'm expecting to increase the money I have in the bank!

8. More Income Generating - Blogging serve as my other way of income generating. As my blog sites rose to fame and popularity last year, I earned money from them though not that high! Hopefully this year, I could grab more and more money from them!

9. Active Online Activities - Now that I had my PC and internet in our home, expect that I will be more active and online! Just the start of this year, I got addicted to Facebook specially to its popular application like the FarmVille and FishVille. I earned lots and lots of friends in Facebook! Well, hopeful I could find the one there!

10. Owning Other More Things and Appliances - New PC, new furniture, and many new pets and stuffs ended my year! What more to buy this year?! Well, let's wait and see!


These were just a shortlist of my expectations this year of the tiger! Hoping that in the end of the year, I already got the things I dreamed for! We didn't know what God will give to us this year. We can't predict what destiny had for us. All we should need to do is do our best to grab the things we desire!! c",)

At Home with Tigers!

It's already year of the tiger! Tiger is everywhere! Just like the Chinese beliefs every new year, you should have the animal who owns the year. And it's much better if that animal is your gift to the other person. That's why every opening of the year, malls, markets, and lucky charm shops were all selling the animal horoscope of the year. It's a sign of good luck and charm as indicated by the Chinese beliefs!

But in our home, look what we got! It's tiger, tiger, tiger...! It's tiger everywhere!

My two tiger pets Reddy and Spotty were really happy as they know that they were the bida of the year! They were such a 'bibo' type of pets to have! Again, they love to roam around our home and play everything they like! But don't get afraid as they were truly tame and kind to everyone! You could hug and handle them!

As you see it yourself, we had lots of tiger displays! Red tigers for the lucky house!

We have lots of tiger calendar! We bought some of them while some where given by friends! Look at them as they dominate our walls and our display areas! What can you say?!

So as we enter the year of the tiger, are you convinced that having a tiger image in your home or in your working area could bring lots of lucks? Hmmm....!!!

But if I were to ask, I really love tigers! I like them! I love the cute little tiger stuffs and the pictures of them! I remember during my childhood in our previous home, we had a beautiful tiger carpet! But we couldn't have it anymore since they were stolen! And talking more of the tiger, during collage, my experiment papers were full of tiger arts and design which enabled me to got the highest grade because of these tigers! Tiger then was became my trademark!

So, hope you had fun as we enter the year of the tiger!!! c",)

Counting My Top 10 Blessings Of 2009!

2009 is over! We are now on the new phase of the decade, 2010!

But before we finally say goodbye to 2009, let us count the blessings we received for this year.

For me, this year was truly a great year to count. Success, achievements, transitions were some of the terms to describe the experience I had!


So, here are the Top 10 Remarkable Things of 2009 that I should be thankful for:

1.) New Home - April of this year when we transferred to our new home. More beautiful, more elegant, wider, and really nice compare with our previous. You see it yourself during the series of our invasions!

2.) Rise of the Blogs - This year marked the birth of my different blog sites. Started as "Bits of Rocks" which eventually turned as "The Rock Land", this personal blog became so active this year as well as my music blog "Rhythm of the Rock". This year also gave birth to my new blog "TV Series Craze" which is so popular these days and to my techie-themed blog "TECHkyrocky".

3.) Successful Career in the Corporate Work - It was indeed a golden year for me in my work. I was given a lot of opportunities in our office and proud to say that I had performed all my tasks and projects with flying colors! All my BRAVO cards, souvenir items, and other appreciations from the different managers reflected this!

4.) Artistic Working Area - Well, you are the one to witness the different transformations of my working area. We transferred working station twice but my artistic style of my own working area maintains which garnered different feedback of appreciations from my officemates.

5.) Birth of My Different Pets - "Miming Negro" became so popular this year. She was well-loved by all the people who visited this site. But aside from her, more new pets were introduced this year starting from the cats, kittens, puppies, tigers, up to the other wild domesticated pets like my civet cat!

6.) New PC - Before the year ends, I finally have my new Personal Computer in our home. Maybe this is the biggest thing I have bought for this year. I also bought its other accessories such as the web cam, speaker, and electric fan solely for this PC. I also have an unlimited access to internet in our home which made my cyber life so active and in-demand!

7.) Lots of Photographs - I had too many pictorials for this year! Yeah, just like what you have seen, in every events, I have photos! I am like a famous model who have different pictorials taken by paparazzi or official photographers.

8.) More Roles and Opportunities - Aside from my routine work in the office, I was also became an effective Trainer of our team. I conducted different trainings in our office. The feedback were all excellent! All my trainees liked me so much and my unique style in presentation. My writing abilities were also enhanced as I developed and created different Manuals and Process Guides to our team in addition to my blogging hobby!

9.) Preparation for a Sexy Body - First week of December when I started to go in a gym. Yup, for five times now, every weekend (when not busy), I go in a gym to develop my abs, chest, biceps, and muscles! Hopefully I see the results of my workouts before our Summer outing!

10.) Active Sex Life - Yeah, though I'm single, I can proudly say that my sex life for this year was so active! Ooh! Just like a sexy star, I was really bankable! I already performed many matured roles like what our hottest youngstars did today!

Indeed, 2009 was so great to me! It gave me lots of blessings and opportunities to count. These were only the top 10 most remarkable things. Yup, there were other things not mentioned here. Some I forgot, some were not need to mentioned!

I also like to add that this year also started my increasing savings in the banks, Hopefully it will flourish more on the succeeding years!

So, thanking primarily our God from up above for all the good things He gave to me this year, let us all salutes and appreciates 2009...Thank You Very Much 2009!!! c",)

Invasion of our Home VIII: 'Preparing For Media Noche!'

Welcome 2010 and Thank You very much 2009!!!

Last night, we finally say goodbye to 2009 and we warmly welcomed 2010. As we welcome 2010, I will also welcome you in our home now in the year of 2010. New year means new invasions!

As the first day of the year approached us, you will also be the first to enter our home! Let me share with you how we prepare for the New Year's eve. So c'mon guys!

The Table was Ready!

Do you like the Ambiance?!

I know you already visited our dining area from your previous invasions. But for the coming of the new year, let me introduce to you the new look of our place of fine dining! Here's how it looks now! My mom was the one who chose for the design of our table cloth! It's colorful that will really blends for the coming of more colorful year!

The pictures were taken at around 10pm. As you can see, there were only few foods in the table. Of course, you already recognized the round fruits on the center. Oh, sad to say that we won't able to complete the 12 fruits! But its alright!

Another foods that you see in our table were the chopped crispy ulo and the loafs of bread. Initially, we were planning to buy a kilo of lechon-baboy, but during that day, all the lechons were out of order from almost all the stores. Talagang nagka-ubusan! But then we were still thankful that we still grabbed crispy ulo! So yummy and crispy!

Not included in the pictures were our other handa like the buko salad, my special choco-gelatin, ube-choco cake, softdrinks, mango ice cream, and spaghetti! During that time of picture taking, spaghetti was about to cook. Meanwhile the desserts that I mentioned were inside our refrigerator!

We were so glad that we had an exchange of foods with our neighbors. We trade our salads and ice cream with the spaghetti and 'malagkit' of our neighbors!

As you can see, there were gifts in our sala's center-table. These gifts were wrapped by my mother to be given to the children in our place!

And when the 12 midnight approached, my mom rolled all the round fruits in our table! 'Pampa-swerte daw yun...' as the tradition tells us!

Well, what can you say as you visit our home before the new year's eve? Are you satisfy with the foods we had for media noche! Or do you want to exchange foods just like we did together with our neighbors?!

Happy New Year Everyone!!! Hope you all enjoy the New Year's eve!

Well, in our house, we were celebrating a happy new year's eve with my mom and my younger brother! It was really a loud sparkling night! And of course, the smoke dominated the air! Better that my mom and I wore a face mask!
